Voice of the Spirit
Wind and Fire Song
(Sung to the tune of
"Are You Sleeping Brother John")
Tongues of Fire. Tongues of Fire.
Mighty Wind. Mighty Wind.
The Holy Spirit's Coming.
The Holy Spirit's Coming.
Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
The Wind rustled blue streamers carried by children dress in white.
Tongues of Fire followed with others dressed in solid brights.
A Descending Dove on a pole was lifted by one...
To usher in the Spirit – for Pentecost had begun.
Disciples carried Christ's message of God's Love.
Tongues of Fire offered comforting Words from Above.
Children and the Choir sang;
Notes from the Piano rang:
The Fruit of the Spirit is love,
joy,
peace,
patience,
kindness
and goodness.
The Fruit of the Spirit is Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-Control.

Honoring God's Gift – His Spirit that lives within Each of Us. Giving Thanks for the Outstanding Cooperation among the young and old in our congregation! Offering a glimpse to MANY of a Pentecost Celebration – which marks the end of the Easter Season this year on Sunday, May 11.
Check out the other new blog in the right margin. It's called "Sunday School Notebook" and has the complete custom-written script.
