Flat Tyler Update
Flat Tyler joined us
at the high school
band concert
last night.
He sat with Cousin Noah...
... in a fourth row seat,
and got a peek at
Cousin Isaac
playing clarinet
and
Cousin Aaron on flute.
Following the concert,
Flat Tyler joined
Cousin Drew in line
for the ice cream social
served by
the band members.
Cousin Stephie
helped Flat Tyler
with a taste offered
by Cousin Isaac.
This morning Flat Tyler
accompanied Uncle Dan
to the voting polls.
From there, they headed to the Minneapolis airport. The two will "do Dallas, Texas" while Uncle Dan takes a business trip and Flat Tyler waits for confirmation on his travel itinerary.
So far Flat Tyler has clearance for travel to Singapore, Atlanta and Seattle on his incredible journey!

Hi there! I'm posting a comment here because I'm not sure where else to. I found your blog today as I was googling "Hymnal for Young Christians" and your 2008 post about finding it in your tubs of music showed up! I was googling the Hymnal because I found that when I was googling the lyrics to a song that goes through my head all the time. I believe the title is Witness Song. All I really know for sure is it is from 1966 by Robert Blue. It goes "Shout out my soul of the love of God (x2), His love is forever and ever (x2)...the repeat is actually supposed to be like the other side of the congregation repeating it back and forth. ANYHOO....Would you know if by any chance THAT song (and chords!?!) are in the Hymnal you have?
I was in a folk choir in my youth (played guitar too!) and so many of these songs bring me back...
Well, you can email me if you find that song! It would be so cool! My email is isjalu0826@yahoo.com. I'm writing you from Connecticut!
Have a great weekend!
Lucille
Hi Lucille.
Sorry, I couldn't get your email to work. To answer your question:
The Witness Song is in the "Hymnal for Young Christians Volume One." It is found on pages 32-33. Unfortunately, my copy is very beat up. I have page 32 with the song's first two lines of music, but page 33-34 is missing.
However, I did find this particular hymnal available for $19.50 on amazon.com. May God bless you in your search.
