After our vacation day trip, we started for the car. On the way, we met the guys - parked and waiting for us.
Heavy rain had chased Isaac and Aaron away from trying to reel in a six-pound walleye like the one they'd seen on a stringer held by a young kid on their way down to the Mississippi River dam.
During the storm, Grandma Sue, Noah and I had taken shelter in the garden gift shop for the better part of a half hour.
Grandpa Curt said,
"We were just
about to
put a note
on your (car's)
windshield
and
Head Home."
