Munsinger Park

The next stop
on our vacation
day-trip outing

took us
from Lake George,

across
the Mississippi River

over to
St. Cloud's
famous garden parks.

Winding
paths

along
the
river
bank

led
us

up
steps,

passed

tropical-

sized

leaves,

around

wishing-

well

fountains,

through
mazes
of
color

under
the
tall
trees

and into a familiar gazebo.

Here Grandma Sue, Noah and I rested while the Mississippi glistened in the distance. Noah grinned, "Tell us what happened here when Aaron was a baby."

I could laugh now - 13 years, after the mishaps. My sister Tammy and I had brought two-year-old Isaac and three-month-old Aaron here for a photo session to complete a family set for Grandpa Curt and Grandma Sue's 30th wedding anniversary. That summer day was miserably hot. The boys' temperaments had matched the weather.

I explained, "In the very spot where you and Grandma Sue are sitting in this gazebo, Aunt Tammy sat down with Isaac while I propped up Aaron in my lap for a break.

While we talked, Aaron stretched out and released a juicy toot. Poop covered MY arms, legs and clothes.

We rushed to the restrooms to clean the mess. When I finally opened Aaron's diaper, it was clean as whistle. Somehow his blowout had shot through a gap covering me instead.

That
was
the
start
of
his
jokes -

right here in Munsinger
Park
."

Here's today's wish to Grandpa Curt and Grandma Sue, "Happy 43rd Wedding Anniversary you two!"
